insanely high ping, help

i went from having a sub 20 ping to having 1300-1400 ping when they updated the game not long ago. nothing changed on my end. What do I do to fix it? i've emailed them and they said not their problem

im having this issue but only on my steam deck. but on my PC it works fine. ill follow for any updates and let you know if i find anything
