How do I play medic?

medic in tfc is used like tf2's scout: you go fast and hit hard. your healing can be nice for someone in need, but players in tfc usually don't expect any more from a medic. don't bother sticking to your allies, be a tf2 scout of sort.

to go fast, you learn to bunny hop and use concussion grenades to jump long distances without self-damage.
to hit hard, use your super shotgun, super nailgun and fragmentation grenades.

note your medkit also infects enemies. make use of that as you see fit.

Thanks, guys. I play medic like scout now, but I also heal friends in need and make heavies and soldiers pretty much invulnerable in pushes. Learning to conc jump as well. The biggest problem is the medkit's range and timing. I don't know when to infect enemies without looking like a dumbass chasing them or how to stay safe while healing or obstructing the ally's vision because you have to be really close.
