Anyway I wouldn't mind seeing a build being leaked someday.
"I don't know how to even make a map" well if you get interested, I have found some tutorials on configuring hammer to make tfc maps and how to make ctf maps. in fact, I am planning to make A tutorial for configuring J.A.C.K. for tfc maps.
Watch theses videos helped me alot when I first started.

I just j.a.c.k the free versions
Glad that Valve changed the game while letting this one as the main serious TF.
Well in a way it didn't age well visually.
My best guess is that Day of Defeat: Source basically suited this purpose, though less of a quake-esque game as TFC is.
The closest thing to it is the Fortress Forever mod on steam which aims to be more TFC Source than the cancelled TF Brotherhood
No dogmeat just replied with "why not make one?" and it went on from there, it was never A misinterpretation of "how do I make A map".
team fortress 2 is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ joke and disgrace to the community.
making a brotherhood of arms mod for half life sounds like a good idea and i could make map if someone wants to do the rest, sounds, models, gui etc
also fortress forever failed in some way
another mod i dreamed of playing was half life nightwatch.
i just cant stand and accept the ugly graphics of TF2. i would never make a map for that game.
so.. people.. should we make a mod for half life based on the old brotherhood of arms content?
Yet TF2 visually aged better than most games that came out at around this time.
