grenades, and Bhop are pretty hit or miss in my opinion.
the game is mostly based on community severs.
valves way of handling the botted players in tf2 (as mentioned above)
was to mute free to play users. making the game basically pay to play.
two thing that TF2 has over TFC, are character customization (hit or miss)
and there are lots of selectable weapons.
the maps in TFC have interactable objects (buttons, doors, etc)
id say if you can get the game on discount its 100% worth it.
You're just going to get biased responces, or misinformation, your question is a bit too vague.
There are players that are still playing after 10-20 years. Many of those will say it is among the best FPS ever, myself included.
There's not many players, but enough to almost always have at least one human populated server at any given time.
Still, I think it can be worth it if you don't have a modern computer, and want to spam away against bots or something.
TFC definitely has bots lol. Not sure what your playing.
As to the OP's question definitely a fun game. Can't go wrong with it as cheap as it is.
the only problem you may have is finding players, there are a bunch that come online occasionally but no impressive numbers
thank you for your response. should have specified what i was referring to more.
i have edited the original response, to better state my my points.
