What gameplay features from TFC you think TF2 misses?
I'll start, medic's poison effect to enemies.

emp on 2fort to sewers with three enemy turrets, two snipers, demomans, engineers and one heavy with a medic.

grenades, armor, movement, open maps, map feature (moving stuff, buttons, gates), weapons, weapon slots, versatility, overall fun

aye but doesn't tf2 have more weapons and more movement? (trimping, complicated sticky jumping, etc) also, "overall fun" is subjective and not really something tfc has over tf2? tf2 also has moving map features, such as gates that slowly open to let the payload through and, which although it is admittedly less interactive, is still a "map feature".

I think he means interactive elements, such as elevators and buttons. When going from gold source to source Valve decided to remove most of them because of an issue with lighting I think.

yeah, you're right. same with cs 1.6 & cs source --> csgo. they removed lots of interactive things probably because people cared more about the competitivness, not wanting elements like that to mess with the balance of the game, or maybe they removed them because the source engine can't handle the lighting the same as goldsource. maybe both.

I think I would prefer getting some stuff from TF2 instead.

- No or less friendly blocking, can be annoying getting past team mates.
- Dispenser giving health.
- Dispenser range slightly increased. Like 1m radius is enough.
- Medic EMR "gun" better range. So annoying healing as it is now, especially since you block each other. Sure, I know, it's more of a combat medic, but still.
- Support for assist kills in both score and chat.
- As a soldier fan, decrease reload speed and increase rocket speed. I prefer tf2 solly.
- Pyro's flamethrower... It needs better fire rate or flame area.
