need area 3 quest help
unlocked third area, dont know if its a bug, but stuck in village of fourre quests, specifically dragon storm where you have to make an axe, make asked for quality, and said npc says i dont have it, same with the quest where a girl asks for mace fish, found spikey fish, said to turn in, girls responses i dont have item, see them in inventory so dont know why both quests arent considered complete or showing i have items, what am i missing ?

Unfortunately, it usually means spending the extra time to increase your gathering capabilities to just gather better materials.

Because you have both hand/staff gathering and tool gathering, it is often easier to rebuild your tools first. But this also requires SP to unlock rebuild, so it just comes down to spending time doing alchemy. It is a pain.

so i found said actual mace fish, first island, hidden cove, had to zoom in completely to see the little marker for said quest, i mean why didnt it show up intial map! still cant figure out axe with capable trait? since i spit out a master one and need help villager 2 on quest to get story moving again

This all depends, there is one set of quests for the Ultimate Swordsmanship achievement, and these can be awkward. Did you get this off of a travelling swordsman?

If so, the quest normally requires making a weapon with the Swordmaster super trait on it.

no dont think i am that far, its the first main quest when entering fourre, help 3 villagers, the second one (dragon storm) wants an axe with capable chopping effect or higher, thought spitting out a master chopping effect one would work, but just says i dont have one, so between that and having to find the dreaded mortinite for creamian and not figuring out how to evole tools (except emerald band) to level two or if i need to unlock that option on skill tree

This could be the use of English here, but Master Chopping is actually lower than Capable Chopping. Along the Effect 1 line of the Woodcutter's Axe, it goes Chopping < Master Chopping < Capable Chopping < Proper Chopping. So you want to hand in a Woodcutter's Axe with either Capable Chopping or Proper Chopping for Effect 1.

For the Axe, the Golden Axe is obtained through a recipe morph from the Woodcutter's Axe and Goldoterion is needed. This is actually along the Effect 1 line, right next to the Capable Chopping material loop. All other tools should be from recipe morphing too.

ugghh, thanks, i always wanna like these games, but blocking/collaring progress with forced collection grinding/synthesis always eventually kills it for me from enjoying this, at least i know what direction to waste time with...
