Shifting click counter duck

Alright so has anyone figured out the deal with the duck from the new DLC that changes appearance and keeps a count of how many times you click on it? So far I have 1000 clicks, it's changed I think 5-6 times and is currently white with a golf ball texture. I unfortunately didn't keep track of the other colors but I remember one was a light blue that looked drippy. What are ya'lls experiences with it and any easter eggs to be found using it?

Now at 1156 clicks with a silver and copper stripe pattern

2308 clicks, yellow duck with one black fin and written on the back "This duck is worth a billion money"

Gonna stop clicking and see if shifts are based on time rather than clicks cause there's no pattern to the number it switches on

by 74 clicks (i started an auto clicker so the # may be a bit off) - green and brown splotchy duck

i saw a small shift around 1600 away from the copper & silver but it switched immediately back

banana seems to be the last stage i made it to 20048 clicks

the shift is at 1708 and its really funny haha, i also went to 20k clicks and saw nothing after banana

Doubling would make sense cause I wondered why it seemed to be changing way less often
