How to play in multiplayer mode?

Hello, i'm wondering how to join public rooms with other people playing and if we can interact with those ducks at all. I haven't seen and public rooms but there are two AFK hosts. I can't seem to join though? Is this normal? And can we interact with others if people are playing?

When there are multiplayer games available, they show which DLCs the games are using. If you don't have all the DLCs needed, you can't join (any missing DLCs are shown in grey - it isn't very obvious)
If there is a multiplayer using only the base ducks, anyone with the game can join.
When you get into a game, first you select a duck, then you can interact by right clicking and choosing an emoji to display.
You can also add some duck names (not sure if this is a bug or a feature!)

Hm.... I guess we can't control ducks, move ducks, or control anything in the environment or chat? I'm not sure i'm keen on playing this game again lol
