Too high GPU usage
I saw that turning on v-sync will bring it down to a more normal stance but still it's awfully high. It's much higher than new graphic intensive games that I play, they take like 30-60%. And also v-sync looks awful on a high refresh rate monitor, like I can't move my mouse, or my whole mouse is on slime mode.
Is this all because of the water physics? Why can't the game make more use of the cpu, my CPU is bored on 10-20%.

Will there ever be some improvements? I really want to run it in the background as a screensaver, when I'm just chilling but it's so loud when my GPU needs to spin those fans at 100%.

btw.

As far as quick fixes you can do right now go, I've had good results knocking down the resolution from my laptop's max of 3840x2160 to the next lowest 16:9 resolution, 2560x1440 - that's enough to halve the strain on the laptop-class 3080, although it probably also helps that my laptop's display tops out at 60Hz anyways.
