A Few Questions
1. Is there any promotional content? (I.E. Anything only available for a limited time or more complicated than just buying DLC)
2. Is there anything permanently missable, even rewards for fulfilling specific conditions?
3. Is this game identical on all platforms, including an in-game achievement system for platforms that don't have the infrastructure for it, and what will it release on?
4. Are there any bonuses for having save data from a different video game?
5. What might this game's age rating be, and are any jump scares? (I don't know if relaxing is all you do, or if there's something brewing below the surface.)

I've got the answers for you:
1. There's a group of seven Christmas-themed ducks you can ostensibly only get around Christmas, but you can cheese it by connecting to a multiplayer instance with those ducks in play. (There were three ducks added as special spawns in the base game map at the same time as a promotional tie-in with World of Warships, but those ducks are otherwise unaffiliated - there's no plans to take them out of the game.)
2. There is no permanently missable content. (Although there is one secret that appears exclusively in 30-hour intervals of total playtime, so be careful!)
3. The game is only for Windows at present (but it will run in Linux under Proton) - a Switch port is on the way, but there's not been an announced release date yet.
4. There are no bonuses based on external save data.
5. There are no jumpscares. (Unless you intend to collect the secret soda cans in two of the maps, where there's a glitchy effect for a second after you click on them.)

So just to verify, the only thing I might miss returns every December? Also, will the Switch version have an in-game achievement system and there's nothing graphic? (I know it sounds odd to ask, but I just want to make sure.)

Question, will the World of Warships ducks be available for the Switch version?

Since it's unlikely the Switch version will coincide with the Christmas season, will those of us who've already unlocked the Christmas ducks be able to have them, or do we have to wait? NutQuacker and the gang are beloved duckies!

Any more plans for seasonal ducks? Since the Christmas ones I've seen holiday after holiday go by without any fun quackers, from Valentines to St Patrick's Day to Easter. I can't be the only one going "x is coming up, more ducks?"

Yes, all signs point to the Christmas event returning this December (and like I said, you can cut out the wait by connecting to a multiplayer room with those ducks in play - sometimes there's room codes that get posted in this forum).

I don't know how the Switch version is going to handle achievements - all that's been shared so far is a picture of it running on development hardware and that it's scheduled for release sometime this year.

The closest you're going to get to graphic content is one particular duck that has "Duck You!" written on the side - the game is 100% clean otherwise.

I see no reason to believe those ducks will be excluded from the Switch version - like I said, they have no direct affiliation with World of Warships.

I have no idea how the Christmas ducks will be handled for early adopters of the Switch version, but I wouldn't be surprised if you can still unlock them by connecting to a multiplayer game with them in play.

No further seasonal ducks have been announced so far - given that they're hard at work on adding graphics settings, the Switch version, and a VR mode, I don't think they're particularly high on the priority list right now.

One question, what is the 30 hour interval event and when does it occur? what is your map? In addition to this, they plan to create an event, for example with the duck under the ice in the ice dlc.

I have a guide about it - read it at your own risk, because it will definitely spoil the surprise: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2938785075

ohhh, I had already seen it, I had wondered why it didn't come out again (I have 3 hours left for 60), something that would be interesting is that they give you the duck, thus being rewarded for waiting, besides being a collector's duck free.
