I can't decide if there's a duck factory back there, full of conveyor belts and paint, or if it's the luxurious lobby that leads you into this magical resort.

There's a duck that says: "The door will open when...." the rest is blurred and has a few mathematical equations printed on it.

This is the new Mount Chiliad mystery :menacingduck:

not completely sure but the equation on top of chalkboard duck's head appears to be the logistic map ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Logistic_map , https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ovJcsL7vyrk ) but using lambda instead of r.

what relevance this has, and if/how it connects to the writing on his chest i haven't figured out yet, might need someone with a more advanced knowledge of maths for this

I managed to get my propeller duck up to the door and used the camera to look behind it and there's nothing, but maybe something will appear there when this gets solved.

I noticed that too, there's no notable geometry behind it so I'm guessing either:
-its only a couple inches deep and is basically a cupboard set into the wall
-the geometry will spawn in behind it when it opens, as you mentioned
-it opens to some kind of portal/non-euclidean geometry (in effect its bigger on the inside)
-its not meant to be opened, and this is just a wild goose chase

anyone got any other ideas?

ive just noticed some of chalkboard duck's writing has been de-blurred, it now reads "the door will unlock when you find the [smudged]" I'm now convinced this isn't a wild goose chase lol

(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Logistic_map) I Thing i just found something. "The logistic map is a polynomial mapping (equivalently, recurrence relation) of degree 2, often referred to as an archetypal example of how complex, chaotic behaviour can arise from very simple non-linear dynamical equations." I think the whole secret is how much chaos is going on in the game, even if it's just rubber ducks. There is even an equation on that website that is on that duck. Or you have to get all achievements + all ducks. However, I think the first option is probably more likely.

Oh, ofcourse. Do you think it really is?

yeah, wiki articles on math concepts generally are explained in a way that requires a fair bit of understanding of the surrounding concepts, whereas that video goes into detail about the math behind it, what it means and how its commonly used, all in a more approachable way (aside from the part about the mandelbrot set, but that doesn't seem relevant to this secret)

Ok, I think that's a pretty interesting secret
