I believe I have a fix for this - I have Shaun White working great on my Windows 10 PC

Hope nobody minds me bumping it - the issue appears to be processor count. If your machine has over 7 logical processors/cores then the game fails to start.

I have written a patch to fix this:

This works fine on the couple of machines I have, plus a brand new install of Windows 10 in a VM. If it does work for you, feel free to ping me

I'd honestly just use the executable download - the hex bit is really just there for anybody to see what changed

This gets the game running! If you still find it freezing up, try right-clicking the ShaunWhiteSnowboardingGame.exe, click Properties, go to the Compatibility tab, and check 'Disable fullscreen optimizations." Game works A-OK now.

heard so much about how this game was broken, which is why it got removed

might buy a sealed retail copy soon just to test it out, it doesnt work on steam though. if only i had a copy on steam...

Guys i know to how to fix it!!! put the gamepatch in the You take the patch and drag it into the installation folder and start the patch

the patch does work from the game folder, however you have to launch it from the game folder every time. Can't be launched from Steam. Additionally - the update from ver 1.00 to 1.01 doesn't work. Says it can't be updated because its looking for ver 1.00 but found 1.000000 - could be just a typo that needs correction

Tried it for the past 1,5 hours, doesn't work.
I get to the options menu and when I click on start game it just closes everything.
When I start the patch it says the Version 1.01 is already found, I have no idea how to fix this on Windows 11....
