How to use Mira Machines?
The tutorial popped up, but I couldn't really tell how to use them. I looked online, still nothing. Any ideas?

It depends on which one it is but it summons a temporary extra member for the coven that helps it soak some damage and applies an effect.
They use power source, the bar that builds up as you fight.
After you reach the required power source with the coven that has it (dependent on the pact used), you will be able to trigger it.

The machina explosive is my favourite as it lasts for quite a bit and deals decent damage to all enemies when destroyed.

I've read that, but the problem is I don't know where these donums are. The young witch supposedly gave me 3, and I got the tutorial for using them, but I can't figure out how.

They are linked to pacts (the things you use to put your units in, using up to 5 pacts at a time).
So for example, if you use a soldier pact you will have access to "machina explosive 1".

Is that it? So they're not an additional thing, they're maybe stronger options, but still using the same "item slot"...? Thanks for letting me know, I'm not sure why they made it sound like such a big deal...

It is kind of a big deal, having something pretty much take damage instead of your units in a fight while giving some other benefits is not exactly a small thing.
But they are not some sort of ultimate game-changing ability either, that's true.
