Abducted puppets

How do you get them back? The tutorial says you can find them at hideouts, but none of the hideouts in the area they were abducted in have them.

You have to refresh the map by going out and in again

how it happens with kidnapping i didnt play Refrain so i dont know about this? is it easy to get them back iam a bit scared they kidnapping the most value character on team and the rest of the team cant get him back because i havent a tank then xD

There’s a doll you can buy at the shop later that negates this one time. You can buy as many as you want so keep a bunch in hand.

Abduction wasn’t in Refrain.

It's not guaranteed to work.

I also have a puppet with unknown status and dont remember on which floor it was kidnapped. Do you have to find him in the hideout on the specific floor? Because otherwise I find it a bit tedious as I have no information on which floor he was abducted.

You just need to be in the right dungeon, floor doesn't matter. You'll be able to tell if someone is lost in an area because below the box with the enemy rank, mana density, and the like will be a black box with "Missing People: X" in it.

I believe that the tutorial said something about leaving the dungeon returning the puppet too, but I haven't tested that. I may have misread it. The only time i lost a pupped I both had an item that was supposed to be taken first, and the puppet ended up right next to me 2 tiles away.

Mhm leaving the dungeon didnt brought the soldier back. But Landale is right, when dispatching or enter a wardrobe you have the information whether there are missing puppets in the dungeon or not. Thanks!

Ahh, that must be what the tutorial might be talking about then. I skimmed through it and didn't read it fully.
