To be honest, it's probably a step just below, like maybe those games but with the hardcore scenes ripped out.

While nothing is explicitly shown, a whole lot of things are directly referenced, joked about, or strongly hinted. It's even worse than the first game, but if you played that, you should already know what to expect.

That said, there's nothing directly shown visually.

Well, the Story of Labyrinth of Refrain was quite dark. The main protagonist (The Witch) was raped as a child and later was maimed. She decided to get revenge against the world. You play as Spirit with the MC (The Apprentice) and try to save the world and The Witch in the process.

In this one, it already makes it clear that the King has many wives, with a few of them younger than 14. Wouldn't surprise me if this game has a lot of dark stories too.

Got to store preferences and enable the first, but not the second box. Games like this should still appear ones in the vein you mentioned shouldn't.

Steam tags are terrible.
Nearly every anime-style game gets tags relating to sexuality and nudity, even if the game doesn't have any.

Heck, the Steam mods themselves have even banned some anime games that don't violate any of their rules.

Just your typical anti-anime bandwagoners.

Found the guy who hasn't played Labyrinth of Refrain.

That stuff definitely does happen, but for these games the tags are warranted. It's not an actual H-game with pornographic scenes, but it's absolutely definitely not for children either, despite the impression you might get from early game.

love the dark themes... there are plenty of games catering soap stories go for Midnight Suns or Hogwart Legacies or any Bioware game then you got the full plate for SJW if you dont have enough of that in real life.
