I came here to say this exact same thing. I agree. lol Guess it gets unwishlisted because no way I'm buying it at anything other than 75%+ off and that probably won't happen.

It's a Nippon Ichi game so even though it's not a game I've heard of it does get some credit for that. Not $50 of credit, but enough to wish list it until a price drop.

Probably more for the people that played The Labyrinth of Refrain in 2018, fun game both are worth the $ if you enjoy these types of games.

$50 is on the cheaper end of a new release tbh

I've heard of it, so the OP is wrong.

It's a DRPG, it was bound to be niche regardless of price point lmao

Yes, indeed, it's a plague like phenomen. Nowadays, Steam forums are infested with these bored and piss-poor creatures who blubber all day about the prices of games which they never buy nor care about. Such threads and creatures should be closed and banned immediateley.

It's one of the few games I have been waiting for for years.
But yes, posts like these appear in every forum of more niche games.
Kids who only want to pay full price for Assassins Creed 49523 or Fifa 59484.

If old regional pricing is followed this game would only cost under $17, nothing to do with AAAs etc now almost every dev/publisher is pricing like this on Steam.
No one in right mind will buy at this price at least in my region for a niche game or indie game at least on launch, many devs/publish are even hiking old prices now, compared to that SEnix is better even if new games are priced very high they don't touch their old games price.
Except for big AAAs high priced games won't sell at least during launch etc, even a gamer from my country who always says the price is OK and all never buy games at full price rather on higher sale, so they can say whatever this kind of pricing only affect players who used to buy day 1.
If Silver case etc came out now I have to pay at least $40 now by the looks of it, got it under $8 on launch.

Well I wouldn't pay even $5,- for Hogwarts because that game simply doesn't interest me. Labyrinth of refrain - I played it twice and put over 200 hours in it. So paying $50 for a game that I enjoy, will probably again spend that much time on, is a very fair price to me.

This is not an Indie game made by 1 guy with poor graphics, the typical $15,- game, this is one of the best Dungeon crawlers with a great production value.

As with all these 'too expensive' discussions - if you think it's too expensive for you, wait for a sale.

I paid $89. Worth every penny.

They likely set the pricing based on steam suggestion, the game costs around $25 in my locale.
