Okay now wtf is this price
Been waiting for as long as I've known about the game, thought it would be priced the same as its predecessors. But holy you do know how to disappoint huh NISA. Screw players from third world countries armirite?

I'd happily pay the equivalent of 40 USD for what is a several months old game (it originally released here in April). But there's no way I'm paying near 8000 JPY (approx 60 USD during current tanking economy and actually nearer 80 USD when the economy is stable) for the Steam release. I mean for goodness sakes, I could go down to a store tomorrow and pick up a physical Switch release for under 4000 JPY--brand new. NIS(A) dropped the ball here, pretty much in every country that isn't America.

I was ready to buy this tonight, too. But that price == no way. Lost sale for sure. As much as I want to play in English, I can go on waiting.

Same. I was hoping I could play this when it got released, I can't even pay for this and even if I could, I wouldn't spend so much money on a game :/, hopefully they'll reduce it or make it get pretty cheap on sales.

40 EUR? Nope.

In our region, it costs the same as the first two games, plus another half of the game, and this is without discounts. Really hoping for a regional cost fix. :YmGirl:

UPD: By the way, the first two games can be completed in 6-8 hours, including extra content.

After Disgaea 6 it seems like NISA is taking the piss with PC releases

I have never complained on steam about price before but I'll wait for a sale on this. I don't mind paying 40 for an indi game but I don't see how this one warrants that. It's a new story but many of the assets and a lot of the map are just reused from the past games. So while it took years to come out it seems, at least on the surface, like less work went into it.

I don't normally balk at price, but it's hard to imagine it being worth the price of a 20hr AAA release. You'd think Square was publishing it, with a brazen price tag like that

Really expensive for a indie.
Yeah I'm so excited about this game released but the price. . .
Is ruin my excitement holy f***k
I never expected my yomawari's price can be this expensive
All For Her Smile Oct 25, 2022 @ 5:09pm
Same here, same as everyone else. The excitement instantly died as soon as I saw that price tag. €19,99 would be reasonable. €29,99 would be tolerable. €39,99 is an insult.
You know what happen before I see the price ?

Due to excitement I dreamed that Yomawari lost in the dark get very negative review some how and myself in dream try to find it why
Then I woke up to realized it just a dream then I immediately grab my phone and check Yomawari 3 in steam. . . To see the bitter truth. .

My hope and excitement are ruin after that

All because of Square and the likes, Namco, Sony, etc. Thinking they're hip and cool not supporting regional pricing, yet they are still successful. So now other publishers are copying that.

Considering Yomawari is a niche horror series, I doubt this game will have much traffic. Even Midnight Shadow has barely scratched 500 reviews, and that game was a substantial upgrade. Guess I will wait until this one go on a sale as aggressive as the other two are doing right now (70% or higher)
