Cannot play the game

So the game itself loads fine on most configuration settings. Except if I select my native resolution and crank the games settings to max when the game gets the to main menu the "press any key" doesnt appear therefore I cant actually continue, it does this on a few combinations of settings.

So when I change a few settings around, and it will actually let me get to the main menu I try to load a new game. It gets to the loading screen of "Into the Storm" but the spinny thing that indicates loading progress is really slow and stuttery and never actually loads the game.

My computer specs:

Intel Core i7 @ 3.4GHz
8GB Ram
Nvidia GTX 550 ti

So I'm pretty sure its not my computer directly lacking the power to run this game. I've tried verifying all cache files and restarting computer but I dont know what else to do. Would appreciate any assistance.

Mine accepts all the highest settings and gets me to the title screen easily, but I too am having the loading screen freeze.

I managed to get the game working using default settings but these are far from ideal.

I had also problem to run new game, but then I turn on vertical sync a now it works.
I think that without Vsync on is framerate too high on modern PC and so it has problem running the game

Happened to me too. ALT-F4 - Google - Prince of Persia loading problem - first forum - "you should enable VSync". Thank God for internet :D
