Game wont launch

So i bought Prince of Persia in 2021 on pc, and from what i remember when i started the game widnows gave me this usual screen of do you give this app permission to something and i accidentally clicked no, and now it gives me the strangest error and i tried to re-install the game many, but i mean many times. I went on the internet and youtube to find some tutorials but most of them even said to factory reset my pc! I also have a screenshot of the message that appears when i try to launch it, i dont know if i can put it here tho.

Some say the game does not work on Windows unless its installed on your main drive C:
That may not be the case, Somebody has made a patch to fix it for Modern Versions of Windows https://github.com/elishacloud/dxwrapper/wiki/Prince-of-Persia

I tried re-installing the game alot of times and play it again but always the same error popped up for the same thing, i tried to re-install it a few minutes ago, i verified the game file with those same instructions and nothing happened either, the error code is this one right here, also ik, i shouldve wrote e error message in the first comment but anyways her it is.

yeah im having the same problem, all because i also said no and i did found a video that helped but now the problem is, it said i have the i have this version of this product is already installed. but when i went to try to find it, i cant find the right one to fix it

I had the same issue. what you want to do is go into your game files, and in the folder that has the launcher .exe, there should be a folder called "VCRedist" or some variation of that name. There should be an .exe inside : run it, and it will install the missing component :D
