Is there a guide to how to get the assistants faster?

The assistants or whatever the goblin, smile and other attendants are called sometimes give double and even triple train bonuses if they align properly, so getting them asap would be great. The issue is I have yet to find what combination of training gets me those attendants faster, had some runs where I got the goblin before the first fight, and some where I barely got only the slime by the time I reached the 3rd one. English language?

The game has only 2 options for languages, both of which I cannot understand (assuming ♥♥♥ and Chinese). Yet the main menu is in English. When I boot up a new game it isn't in English at all. I'm not sure if there's a patch to give English language, but I can confirm it ISN'T in English....
