What happened to Adon?

I'm sure Acclaim had them make her more human to be able to sell toys if Turok 3 became as big as Turok 2.

She had some character development in the comic Adon's Curse that released with Turok 2 that lines up pretty well with her character in 3.

yea I think there was some Lore behind it how she changed after she fell in love or something. Not sure if that was the reason for the change but I Bremen the comics explaining what happened between T2 and T3 and it explains

Is jarring for sure, but no reason she can't have changed her clothes and makeup in the span of two whole years. Many women do those things daily, if you can believe it.

Same how Joshua looks different; time has passed.

I believe the issue is that she was a blue alien humanoid and now she is... A Human lady with sci-fi armor

Yeah, I know, but I mean it can be explained away with Lost Land nonsense. Maybe blue makeup is a thing? Who knows. xD
I never played Rage Wars, but it's my understanding her non-default costumes in that weren't blue-skinned either? Is easy to imagine a canon scenario.

So in the comics she was a hard light hologram of sorts(who still had a mother). Spoilers for the comics. In Adon's curse she uses herself and the council to replace the primagen as a power source for the lost land. They cancelled the comics before they could/would explain this change in appearance. But go back to her hologram appearance and you can tell that underneath the blue hologram light she looked very human. Her Turok 3 appearance is her without being a hard light being it seems. That is my take to explain the change in appearance.

You can still read them online on sites like readcomiconline together with other Turok Comics. There is even a Turok 3 Comic retelling the entire game and has an additional bio for the three Turoks and Adon at the end!
