No multiplayer?
And it's like 90,00 BRL dawg, too overpriced for an 4h game, i mean gyadayum. It's the Forsaken treatment all over again.

I dunno, to play? And that's not the point, there is no reason to remove, even if was Just split-screen, they should keep It.

The original game had splitscreen support and bots, not everything is online multiplayer. Strange considering that they kept the multiplayer for the Turok 2 remaster.

As far as I know, the source code is no longer there. I'm guessing that Rage Wars will come for it

That isnt a factor since the maps can be remade, same with adding the MP modes and AI.

Was this the Turok game that introduced the Tree Tops village DM map that had AI raptors that spawned down below in the world?

Was actually wanting to showcase it.. Not enough mplayer games add AI elements into the mix that could actually make things different and fun. Although, I felt bad for anyone who picked Raptors to play as as they couldn't climb the ladders to get out from down there and slowly died to the AI raptors lol.

For real i still don't get it why they removed. Night Dive removes LAN mp from Forsaken and on this, but they included the LAN (even the online PvP in Steam version) on Rise of The Triad: Ludicrous edition. I don't get it the incosistency.

the n64 version had multiplayer with bots,
plus pc multiplayer games are always dead within a week, just look at half life 1.7 its already dead after its 25th which sucks because it was so fun to play

They can be inconsistent in general

Turok 2 has splitscreen on things like PC but not nintendo switch

Turok 2 has linux support on steam, but not on GOG

I'm sure there are reasons for this one way or another though

why do people keep saying this as if it's some ultimate gotcha?

who cares if the game will be dead quickly? the game originally had multiplayer, so the remaster should have it. it had bots you can use as well so you didn't even need other players, and it's 2023 now so things like Discord exists. local multiplayer should have been included at the least. i dunno, it's a little weird.

Apparently they had to basically remake this game from scratch, and never had a native pc port like turok 1 and 2 did

So maybe they just didn't have the time and decide to add it in at a later date? I hope that's the case
