FS4 runs so much better than MSF. I use virtual desktop to link my pico 4. FS4 runs at 72 fps smoothly and SSW only kicks in over dense population centers.
I have VD set to ultra with h264+ codec. The sim looks great since the global scenery update.
- Proper FMC route editing, DIR TO
- Fuel, Weight
- Basic weather
- Better soundpacks
This would be already enough for many people to consider using the lightweight FS4 instead of the other two sims.
Physics are already very good, so if they could add the other things they could attract more users, for sure.
But I would say, if IPACS could improve FS4 by 20% I surely would use it more often.
I absolutely agree and think these kind of updates should be prefered over adding new planes.
Im for the basic weather but the other 2 I don't need personnally. Im okay with flying by compass heading, moving map, VFR. I surely hope IPACS doesn't complicate it like that other MSFS mess. 😔 Im one for less is more, and IPACS has done that beautifully.
for these features to be implemented!...
Probably not. Like I said above less is more. For me anyway.....
