Stuck at lvl 9 leather working and Lvl 14 blacksmith
So I cannot make Generic Boiled Leather nor wrought Iron anything(although i can smelt it). I purchased some Generic Boiled Leather from someone and I have made the Leather working tools at someone else's table but cannot make the upgraded table. I cannot make get wrought iron nails or the wrought iron bars to upgrade any of my other tables. When i go to other peoples forges i still do not have the option to craft any wrought iron pieces. Anyone have a similar issue or know what the heck i am missing?

Boiled generic leather unlocks at level 16 Leatherworking.

The lowest craftable with wrought iron (besides the ingot and without a higher level craftable item needed) is the wrought iron axe (which uses a large iron axe blade & iron nails and I figure it will be changed in the furture) at level 17 weaponsmithing; wrought iron pickaxe at level 18 weaponsmithing; or wrought iron bars, sheets, and wires at level 19 blacksmithing.

Also, to place the weaponsmith workbench (not the basic weaponsmith workbench) you have to have level 15 in weaponsmithing. Same with sheets and wires, they need a forge (not the basic one) and you have to have level 15 in blacksmithing.

At least you can still craft boiled generic leather on the simple tanning rack! ;)

Your not missing anything, the game expects you to now spend hours grinding out 7 levels of leatherworking by tanning simple leather, turning it into strips and then throwing them out.
Same with blacksmithing, the game expects you to spend ours smelting iron, turning it into rods, and then making hundreds of crossguards to throw out

This point in the skill upgrade is ridiculous and infuriating
