Please be brave and delete inactive plots to stop server lag
I know some will complain about having the plots of inactive players who joined their clan and left the game being deleted. But they should not be entitled to more plots than other players. I paid for all my plots yet some others have a lot more plots than me that they never paid for.

Clan can always still move the stuff from a deleted plot after. So it's not like they lose things. They just need to rearrange their base in a way that only includes the plots ACTIVE members paid for.

Please do this before a lot of people leave, as the lag from the building spam everywhere is making game borderline unplayable.

There is a base near me that blocked off a valley and entrance to land of stone in wildlands. Forced me to use 2 plots just to build a staircase around it. That player has not played since I started and obviously left that blocking base as a farewell gift to others. Why should something like that even still exist?

Yeah, same question... cause there is plenty orange plots that have not had a lick of activity since the 25th... its like 1 abandoned for every 10 inactives

There should be a fixed time (e.g. 1 month of not logging in) of inactivity after which the plots are released. Right now devs dealt only with accounts that refunded the game.

If the servers are lagging, its not the fault of the simple abandoned half made plots, its the clans who are making complicated architecture using thousands of logs to make their intricate patterns. Go take a stroll past one of these behemoths and watch your computer weep.

So that is the reason why they limit number of plots to 4 per account?

Many got around this limit, by having inactive players in their clan, who they got to set their plots to clan access, before they left. Seen massive bases taking up dozens of plots, with thousands of unnecessary placeables that don't render properly and occasionally may see one player there.

Need a decay timer more than ever, that can only be reset by player and needs something tiresome to craft to reset it, so they can't just get reminded on discord by their friends to log back in to reset timer.

This is the exact reason these type of MMO games fail and why this is released in EA. We always either get to many people in one area or to many objects in one area that causes unplayable lag.

I say build more and lag more to stress the servers to the max so that they can figure out the best way to resolve this ongoing issue. When this game actually releases it will be 10x worse than it is now and I want the game to be ready for it, so people do not quit in masses like this EA launch.

You will never out-compete large clans if the game becomes active. And the game has to be developed assuming it has to support all players who pay subscription as active players.
Performance should not degrade, players should be happy... and should still be an mmo.
The dev commented yesterday that map feel crowded with buildings but others say the map is empty from players.
I am curious what solution they find.
