Many got around this limit, by having inactive players in their clan, who they got to set their plots to clan access, before they left. Seen massive bases taking up dozens of plots, with thousands of unnecessary placeables that don't render properly and occasionally may see one player there.
Need a decay timer more than ever, that can only be reset by player and needs something tiresome to craft to reset it, so they can't just get reminded on discord by their friends to log back in to reset timer.
I say build more and lag more to stress the servers to the max so that they can figure out the best way to resolve this ongoing issue. When this game actually releases it will be 10x worse than it is now and I want the game to be ready for it, so people do not quit in masses like this EA launch.
Performance should not degrade, players should be happy... and should still be an mmo.
The dev commented yesterday that map feel crowded with buildings but others say the map is empty from players.
I am curious what solution they find.
