If you want raiding, dungeon and mob farming you might want to wait or look at other games.
But what about PvE content? Are there things like dungeons, camps with NPCs for combat and things like that?
If you are not into crafting and building Pax Dei in its current state is not for you.
Bear in mind that this game is supposed to be a social MMORPG, so trading with other players will be inevitable.
I would recommend waiting before buying this game if you're looking for content. So far, it’s mostly about farming materials and crafting. You’ll play for a few days, then leave it for a few weeks, come back to check what’s new, get bored, and repeat the cycle.
With all of that it means that we can't fully say how this game will turn out in the end, how much PvP content will be there and how much impact it will have can change in their plans while they develop this MMORPG.
On a MMORPG it is important that on the final game all comes best possible together which means a lot of changes and overwork can be necessary in late development. That the game as a MMORPG works is more important as what all players wish that this MMORPG should be or we have a dead MMORPG after some months. Most players and even sometimes developers struggle to understand what a MMORPG need to be successful in the long run and not only in the first weeks.
In short: we can't really answer that question yet, everything is subject to change
The best way to play this game for me is to Solo and get to know the active folks around you so you can all get together and hit the NPC areas or run out and farm stuff. Discord works really good here.
A) Grow a pair
B) Hire PvPrs somehow.
High-level crafting requires rare resources only found in the PvP area. So either you learn how to fight, or pay others to do it for you.
Pax-Dei has a player driven economy which forces the risk of PvP. Its not for Minecraft Carebears. It is possible to get these resources without PvP however. But it'll likely get very expensive...
PS. Want PvP grow a pair put your countries uniform on and go do it for real. Then come back and say you still want it for entertainment.
