Currently, PvP is restricted to one area called Lyonesse; the four provinces (which make up the majority of the world) are PvE only.

I'm asking this because I don't like pvp anymore. So I wanted to know if there is content and things to do in PvE

If you like building and crafting you can get hundreds of hours of gameplay.
If you want raiding, dungeon and mob farming you might want to wait or look at other games.

At the moment it is neither. You can make a fancy looking house. That's about it.

you can play without pvp zone. I am only pve crafter

Once economy is implemented you might don´t need to go into PVP zone. I guess you will be able to trade your goods for those farmed in PVP zones by someone else

But what about PvE content? Are there things like dungeons, camps with NPCs for combat and things like that?

Combat opportunities are limited, especially if you are a solo player. Many people also complain about the overall combat mechanics.

If you are not into crafting and building Pax Dei in its current state is not for you.

Camps were added in one of the latest patches, so I assume we’ll see more PvE content in future releases.
Bear in mind that this game is supposed to be a social MMORPG, so trading with other players will be inevitable.
I would recommend waiting before buying this game if you're looking for content. So far, it’s mostly about farming materials and crafting. You’ll play for a few days, then leave it for a few weeks, come back to check what’s new, get bored, and repeat the cycle.

Its really neither. The PVE is so limited that its really just farming. The PVP is an opt-in arena thing that you have zero incentive to go do. There is also no survival aspect to the game whatsoever.

Other already answered it, but I want to add: Pax Dei is a MMORPG heavily in development and not feature complete at all yet. That means all "players" are more testers right now than really players.

With all of that it means that we can't fully say how this game will turn out in the end, how much PvP content will be there and how much impact it will have can change in their plans while they develop this MMORPG.

On a MMORPG it is important that on the final game all comes best possible together which means a lot of changes and overwork can be necessary in late development. That the game as a MMORPG works is more important as what all players wish that this MMORPG should be or we have a dead MMORPG after some months. Most players and even sometimes developers struggle to understand what a MMORPG need to be successful in the long run and not only in the first weeks.

In short: we can't really answer that question yet, everything is subject to change

Currently there is no reason to PVP so even in PVP areas nobody will bother you.

The best way to play this game for me is to Solo and get to know the active folks around you so you can all get together and hit the NPC areas or run out and farm stuff. Discord works really good here.

Run away dude, DO NOT waste money on early access. Crafting is a ♥♥♥♥ show. hundreds of empty plots everywhere.

PvE players will be forced to either:

A) Grow a pair
B) Hire PvPrs somehow.

High-level crafting requires rare resources only found in the PvP area. So either you learn how to fight, or pay others to do it for you.

Pax-Dei has a player driven economy which forces the risk of PvP. Its not for Minecraft Carebears. It is possible to get these resources without PvP however. But it'll likely get very expensive...

What garbage are you talking about? Pure iron ore is available on every map, there is no need to PvP what so ever, the devs have also stated resources will never be gated behind PvP. You may have to spend time to travel though. I hope the devs do not give into the constant whining of the toxic elitist PvP crowd pushing their toxic agendas so hard.

PS. Want PvP grow a pair put your countries uniform on and go do it for real. Then come back and say you still want it for entertainment.
