Why not full nudity like in Conan Exiles with a choice to opt in or out? I’ll bet that would sell a lot of copies and make the number of female player character explode :D

Pax Dei has a more clear target player group as many other online games. To advertise the game in a way that doesn't fit the game would be more harmful than beneficial to the game.

No one would leave because of nudity or skimpy armor. Conan exiles is not toxic and hardly anyone even talks about nudity or skimpy armor mods. It would attract a lot of players.

Grinding in a game like this is difficult without eye candy.

Sorry to say that buddhy but In your mind it's all about sex and nudity? Even in games? Yes of course sex is the best and most beautiful thing in the world. However, if you don't get enough of it in real life that you need it in games to have fun then you should check your whole lifestyle, right? Or maybe you should visit a mental doctor!

Sorry to say that buddhy but In your mind it's all about sex and nudity? Even in games? Yes of course sex is the best and most beautiful thing in the world. However, if you don't get enough of it in real life that you need it in games to have fun then you should check your whole lifestyle, right? Or maybe you should visit a mental doctor!

I'm assuming you must ran off to the bushes being unable to control yourself when you see a woman in a short skirt showing some cleavage. Only reason why I can think that you associate looking at a beautiful female character in skimpy clothing

I'm married and in other games, my wife often plays as a hot male character with not a lot of clothing. It does not bother me and I'm sure its just something nice for her to look at. Same for me with female characters and anyone else who values beauty instead of the behemoths we often see in some games, where some decided that women are supposed to look like men.

I suppose you think that Conan Exiles, Scum and Soulmask must be asian porn games as they have these things. Scum after call of beauty update allows players to create hot female characters. Has sliders. Soulmask will have more mod support soon like Conan Exiles.

No jiggle alone won't. But getting rid of diapers. Giving bodysliders to make a nice looking female. Some skimpy armor or mod support so modders can make it. Changing movement mechanics so she no longer runs like a male. Those would bring in new players and prevent many leaving who are tired of staring at character in ugly armor.

Not saying it would fix the other problems in the game. But would be beneficial and a start.

There are SJW white knights in most games trying to push a DEI agenda. Though more often they are just trolls who are clown farming. Like the example you showed. Elder Scrolls hardly has anything sexy about it. (correction I thought your example was about elder scrolls online. instead its about skyrim which is ancient now).

There are some threads in Soulmask complaining about boob sliders. Many thread in First Descendant complaining about some of the skimpy costumes. The people complaining get told where to go.

Vast majority of men appreaciate female beauty in revealing clothes and the same for women in reverse. It's mostly those who have been brainwashed by DEI, who assume anyone who likes their characters to dress sexy, must get turned on by it. If they assume this then it shows they have a dirty mind and probably get turned on every time they see a woman in revealing clothes in real life.

The ones on the Throne & Liberty are fun too. The beta forum is gone with the theads but there was one very successful at farming. :)

My friend, I love women enormously. Nothing beats a well-shaped, well-executed body of a beautiful woman. But I don’t need this stuff in a game. Do you know why people love nudity and sex in games even if they have this stuff in real life? Because they program you for sex since you’re a teenager. They manipulate you through TV, Internet and Ads. With that they make billions! You can see how far they already have us, buddhy. In addition to this, of course, there are all the hardcore nerds who don't get a wife or a girl and then want the stuff in games.

I feel like I'm caught between two stools right now. On the one hand, I can understand why they don't want it in here, but on the other hand, I also understand why some do.

Maybe I feel that way because both sides are arguing quite selfishly here. Yes, I've played female characters in many other MMOs even though I'm male, BUT I have no problem if that's not appropriate in an MMO design and I play a male character like here in PxD. I am able to adapt very well to a game and don't automatically expect something in one game just because I had it in another.

To make it even more clear: I actually play beside PxD Cyberpunk 2077 the first time (second run) with only female characters. I spend a lot of time inside the character editor and on dressing and that in a near 1st person only game and I did not even use the camera mode. A heavy contrast to PxD.

And thanks for the laughter... you need something nice to look at... how would it be to look more on the beautiful game world? Walking slowly through the forest is a truly immersive experience.

But I agree that the character editor is a bit limited for my taste. I love complex character editors. I would even have paid for the BDO character editor alone (there I have also mostly female characters).

I think the devs will not move the game aesthetic toward modern era. They'll stay medieval.
But who knows. Those characters I seen after they died looked like place holders.
If they add taverns and dancing maybe they change character model too.
