A lot of ideas were mentioned by Players before and as you also noted the recycling system as a money sink was brought to the attention as well.
Which you might not know yet, you can also use the higher level crafting tables and crafting stations of other players. You're not bound to build everything on your own. This often can help with the level up process.
Are you talking about the "Market" when you say shop? You must be talking about another game because anyone can visit your market and buy your goods/wares. As for giving things to people for free... you definitely must be talking about another game because you CAN actually give things away for free... you make the container PUBLIC. MANY people in game do this, they set up a chest in front of their property for free items.
Red onions are found in the Forsaken Forest. If you haven't seen the legend on the map in-game... it's in the lower left-hand corner.. will show you what the Forsaken Forest biome looks like.. that's where you'll find red onions. Careful of the Lost Souls (ghost-like npcs) and the Dire Wolves / occasional Bear. It's really not all that difficult to solo zig-zag your way thru slowly and methodically to farm stuff completely under-geared.
The market doesn't work for me, I have a sales stand created but I can't enter the price of the product and I only have the option to enter sales for the clan. I don't know, maybe it's set up differently and elsewhere, in that case it should be explained more clearly.
Of course I know about the legend on the map, for to find onions the Forsaken forest is not in my territory, I have to go to it BEYOND THE MAP BOUNDARIES, and here we are again...
When building it is absolutely atrocious. Your cursor is fixed in the middle of your screen & your character is in the middle of your screen so when building your character is constantly in the way of what you are targeting. especially when looking up & if you are looking down & on the edge of being under something (a roof a beam or whatever) because you are trying to put your fixed cursor at a certain point. Your POV starts constantly changing (in or out) which moves your cursors targeting. it is absolutely maddening when we are trying to build more complex things. Then you finally get your guy just to the side of your cursor while aiming up to put your cursor exactly where you want it & what happens? You character now sways in front of your cursor again *aargh* Figured this would get fixed before to long, but it hasnt. & with the rumor of wipes & going 1.0 this year. I feel afraid this will get ignored.
With building & combat crazy how things from behind you will blind you. Why is that a thing?
Was fighting a gray bear & swing move back a little or side step or whatever & suddenly a tree not next to me is blinding my screen from behind my battle. All I am seeing is pine needles from a branch. if 3rd person is here to stay. Which I assume it is. Then you should never be blinded from your own character on screen under any circumstances. Looking up a hill a blade of grass can blind your vision from behind. This is very silly. Pine trees are the biggest culprit. Walk into a group of them & you cant see nothing at all anywhere. you have to change your point of view to a certain spot to pick up resources off the ground even.
Most is just a major nuisance, but building is just absolutely maddening. Sometimes I have to build a stone wall behind me just so I can get a clear view of what I am trying to target in that moment. This shouldnt have to be a thing.
Please please please fix how our point of view operates.
While I am needlessly complaining. Might as well throw in the lighting. I know I heard this is probably one of the last things to be fixed in the game, so I patiently await this, but figured while in this post I will throw back out there as well. it is just weird to be in the daytime in a dark area of your buildings & with light sources & it is darker. You have to wait for night for the lights to work. also at dawn your dark areas are actually darker for some reason. In the time we dont have any real sunlight & the light sources goes out, because it is technically daytime. those areas are worse. Not sure if you devs know about that part or not.
Crafting from chests is a close second QOL request which I"m sure the devs have heard dozens of times by now.
so in that case. I wouldnt mind being able to craft from chests if the chest with the resources in it were close to whichever table.
