If this happens now and they can not track it down in a week, im afraid to see what will happen in the future. It can not be that hard to figure out whats wrong between steam and their servers. Tech said yes we see you have the master pack so ok on their end, steam says yes I have the master pack, I played 600 hours but now it just doesnt work?
I sure hope someone takes this seriously.
Most of those things are so outdated, that they give so damn many false positives. You can also see it in this case. It is not the companies fault to take steps against cheaters. It is the fault of your faulty tool that is giving false positives because it does not get feed enough data. Windows Defender is sufficient.
Windows Defender is anti-virus. We all 100% need anti-virus + a perimeter defense like a decent firewall. If you disagree, then you are probably already infected.
It's bloatware and adware people. You don't need it.
And the latest entry from Incubus actually underlines the issue with all the false positives of those 10000 anti virus tools nobody needs anymore
