unable to enter game
I've spent the last 4 hours trying to get into PD, no success- losing the will to live. I've checked integrity of game files twice, downloaded most modern drivers from GeForce Experience. I press 'play' in PD file on steam, launcher window appears and it takes normally 20-30 seconds 'waiting for game' launcher window then disappears and upto a minute later a tiny box opens bottom right saying that Easy Anti-Cheat has found something -error 00000022 as I recall. I have 740 hours logged in game; most recently was probably September/October last year; this is my first attempt to play the game since then.

It could be a result of third party RGB software, or other third party applications for a mouse etc.

Try locating and deleting the Easy Anti-cheat cache folder as well. I'm not sure where it's located in Pax-Dei, but this has been a problem others have encountered for other games like Fortnite and games on the Unreal Engine.

Get rid of any overlays as well.
Any luck with this? I'm having the same issue and none of the "fixes" have worked..

Do you have the same error code? Try Googling the code for fixes on the net.

From the limited research I did, its a problem with Easy Anti-cheat and Unreal 5 Engine. Some claim they fixed it simply by deleting cache files.

I haven't had any issues myself, so I can't confirm if it actually works.
I just downloaded this game and have yet to play. I have the same error coming up, and so far none of the information I've found googling have fixed the problem. Has anyone come up with a solution?

What store do you use?
What are your system specs?

I am not very computer-literate so I'm not sure how to answer that. :( By Store, do you mean Steam?
I have Windows 10 with a AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core Processor. I have 32 GB of ram. That's about all I know.
Well I should've caught on sooner because Norton's always the issue. I excluded the game files from my Norton and the game is now starting. (Adding this in case anyone else has this issue.)

Please always ensure that your drivers and game are up to date, and keep in mind that antivirus tools may sometimes block specific files due to false positive reports. That being said, we have a support FAQ entry addressing the reported issue. here [support.playpaxdei.com].
I don’t understand why when I use the launcher the game runs into the login screen I try to login with steam it says not detected, then when I try to use launcher it says I haven’t bought the game, any help?
for me the same issue i just bought the game with the dlc and it doesn't start up
i tried everything sofar i read here
my laptop is a DELL Precision 7770 and runs on win11 Pro
12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-12950HX 2.50 GHz
sofar i never encountered any problem with any game sofar
must i wait for a update that can solve this or must i claim my money back?

Update march 28
its now since i bought the game in February 24 being unchanged and no one answered, allthrough with all my attemps with every subsection i read and tried is stays fruitlessa nd i got 112 minutes now ingame????
i still havent got ever passed the easy cheat popup window
when will this be fixed because every other game is working

I just spent the past month with support and still can not log in thru steam. Same thing game starts waiting for game and crashes. After 2 support tickets and a bunch of uninformed answers like I have seen on similar posts I have now given up after almost 600 hrs of game play. My clan can not log on , my wife can not log on. If support is this bad now just think when you have a monthly sub.

Fix the game and stop asking me for the same log files everyday and making excuses for broken software. Nothing has changed if nothing is fixed
