I'm interested in buying this game since it's a niche genre. But the devs are not doing a good job showing off why I should invest now.
OPs post basically confirms my fears and I'm just disappointed.
Good point!
To add to that scenario lets say you go to a castle and get 500 heartwood for 5k gold. Then 30 minutes later walk into another castle and they are selling 1000 Heartwood for 1k gold. Not knowing the market rates makes it even worse. Literally no town messengers or merchants that have a price guideline to follow because its not even an open market area.
I feel like this patch is just a storage box for the ungodly amount of things you have to craft and gives the impression of meaning to those things. Somebody stated it real well. Like selling ice to Eskimos.
Look out here come the popcorn boys.
You can kill humanoid NPCs and loot gold from them. Once you have enough gold for the market fees (anything under 20g requires 1g fee) you can start selling things. Your local chat should give you some ideas about demand and supply.
Thanks.
but poorly made
the best system would probably be like in eve online with local info where they sell what and when but not regional to allow merchants to trade goods. But if no one plays the game it doesn't matter what and how they do it. So far they have no idea what a good game needs.
Exactly, but they want people to interact with other players as Otkin said (through chat). There is a group of players who have put the (time in and more than likely received CD Keys as well) Apparently a bunch are trying to lessen this time because it's too grindy regardless if you are in a clan (Percent of time at table versus playing a game). We are supposed to depend on 1k elite players for our market because they put the time in. This is the same case as many games. (We are the poor they are the rich) Diversity as intended in any kingdom.
