So I was working on building my place today
When I logged on. I was doing just fine, working on the place for a while. Then suddenly all of my construction abilities went way backwards. Now I can use half the things I build with.
Wondering if this is just a glitch or do I have to put all my building plans on permanent hold?

it says i have them unlocked in the receipts and their not in the building option.

yea I lost about half of my options. today after half a week of being able to use them.. now that i am remodeling i am screwed.

Same here. Missin ONE roof triangle roof piece to at least finish the roof circle on first floor. From doing clay shingles and half brick walls I've got downgraded to stickwalls and basic stick/thatch roof, and can't, or won't finish my building like that. I can understand to get downgraded ONE step.. but not all the way to sticks!

And really, to lvl up... the grind, rescourses and time it takes is out of control.

Pine forest biome next to the rocky cliffs or mountains

It is the same biome as raspberries and strawberries. If you see the latter you should be able to find grapes somewhere nearby.

I found a few nodes inside a home valley, but I had a much greater success in the wilderness.

I cannot skill up past 31 in carpentry. There are no other skills that I am aware of that are going to get me to 32 much less 35. I had my build half way done and all the materials I was using went away. Seems this first update was really for new players. Not nice.

I leveled grapes all the way up and have nothing left in the skill progression to get past 31. :(

You can level with crafts at the Trivial difficulty. They still give XP albeit lower.

A lot of people have levelled carpentry all the way to 41, myself included.

Planters give more XP and depending on your location limestone might be easier to get. I levelled from 35 to 41 using planters.

Yes. I found them in the foggy area in the Wildlands. Also we are getting good exp. in carpentry even when it is at trivial. I have been grinding my stone planters & re-unlocked all my carpentry already.

Hello, some recipes now do require a higher carpentry skill than before. We are currently working for ways to fix it, so you can wait for the fix or continue leveling up your skills, you will get those recipes as you progress.

Someone replied in a post i put up last week for the same issue of missing recipes at different crafting stations and also from my build menu.

the problem with the 'level up your skills' is that i lost for instance, all tanning skills for leather working except the very first skill. It can't even level that skill up. Other leather working skills that I do have are mastered so i can't level those up either :steamsad:
