How to switch between arrow types? Is this a function yet?

I don't want to use a low tier arrow that can drop a rabbit or deer in one shot to fight bear or to kite boar. However it appears when I have 2 types of arrows in my bag I have no way to choose which I am stringing to fire. Currently I have to drop the stack I don't want to use then pick it up again. Is this not a feature yet or am I doing the only thing I currently can?

why not just put arrows in the top left of the inventory. typically you use what ever is first so if your first slow is wooden and second is iron itll use your wooden first.

If your arrows are in a sequence in inventory, the game will use them from left to right. I.E., Iron arrows then wrought iron arrows. Iron will be used first, then the wrought iron. Just change the order to determine which type is used first.

Well, it is the same at crafting, when you look what resources are use at first, it's always the one furthest to the left (if you put every row from top to bottom behind each other). Same when you consume food, if you have more stacks of the same food you can use it from the last stack but it remove it from the first one.

But the need to go into the inventory to change what arrow you want feels more like a workaround. We definitely need a better solution to switch the arrow type by a button press.
