Actually they went into EA cause they wanted you to fund their development. They definitely did not need to release in EA nor charge their players to test the things you are mentioning. They also could have finished certain aspects of the game like combat, or adding a friends list, or being able to logout of the game back to main menu .. but instead they ran out of money and are now making you pay for the development of the game and using the excuse of “we need a player base to continue development” more like they need money from their player base to continue their operations. You have textbook Stockholm syndrome.
It’s not necessarily a bad thing. I just think it’s funny that people used to say they had plenty of money for their game when EA was released and that EA didn’t mean they ran out of money. Now though that’s not the narrative and people are just saying “what’s wrong with EA” and “well a game takes money”
What IS bad though is releasing into EA too early and killing all the hype for your game. Then not releasing any content for several months
You literally ignored everything that was presented to you but okay. Nice comeback bro! That was clearly the whole point of coming to the forums of this dying game to make your post
“Hey man! I still see about 3 or 4 people on the particular server I’m playing on every 2 weeks when I log in!”
The steam players don’t lie. You guys are so scared of actual data. Yea let’s go in the fact that for here sees a couple people every time he plays. Forgot the steam numbers showing all people how are playing this game on a daily basis, that shows that players are leaving each week.
Pretty much every other game has another way you can play it other than steam. What does that have to do with the steam numbers? You clearly play on steam. And they clearly needed the influx of steam players to keep their studio around. You can keep enjoying the declining player base and it guess just not care cause your server with a max of 150 players has a couple of people. I mean if you are still going to be having fun in a couple months with triple digit player count spread out amount 3 servers all with 5 or so game shards. Go right ahead. You found the perfect game for you.
You login everyday but don’t feel satisfied enough with that game so you come to the forums to white knight for it. The game is so Amazon but you refuse to just let the gameplay speak for itself and have to defend the game cause “game” has barely anyone playing and people are holding the devs accountable for nothing being in their game and the slow and vague updates.
That must be why barely anyone is playing. The only people that enjoy this game are people that think 90s pc gaming was the height of entertainment when the whole games appeal was literally just interacting with players from around the world. That’s doesn’t cut it these days bud. That’s why more people leave the game every week. Why do you think that is the case Mr big brain?
Also you still spend a lot of time here defining the game cause you can’t stand people not enjoying it like you are. Which is weird. Just play the game since it’s so good?? But it’s boring in game so you come here while crafting cause it’s takes no input or effort really.
