Nothing wrong with the OPs suggestion.
It's meant to be realistic, but you moved them with an alt? How's that realistic?
If you're going to use realistic as a rationale, then either you would have had your clan/friends move things for you, paid someone (with the realistic in game currency) that you may or may not trust to move it for you, or you would have just been out of luck and left it completely abandoned.
There's nothing wrong with people making suggestions that could potentially improve an aspect of the game - even if you don't agree or had to do them the 'hard' way because it's early access.
