It's a perfectly valid request / issue.
There is 0 competitive advantage in the request, so how it's 'unfair'? Or is it just you being entitled and not liking it? It's early access - expect things to change and preferably to improve, without always needing a wipe.
If the placement of trees was the main factor in where you built, that's a 'you' issue, not an everyone else needs to be penalized in perpetuity one.
You should have built based on one of two major factors - the view or the location, which presumably would have been centered on access/area/clan.
Plenty of people build in the woods and end up with a good layout and aesthetic.
The removing of trees should wait though till the next soft wipe. The devs already moved resources around which meant some lost having them near their base. There used to be a black bear spawn right outside my base that got removed.
There are more important things to fix than trees growing through buildings and those who built this way, should live with it for now. Same way if someone builds on top of a mountain and hates using their ugly staircase and demands that an elevator should be added.
ehh resource should still spawn int he same biomes just move the actull respawn point
And no, I actually picked my plot and threw my foundation down before I realized they keep growing back. I would have tried to lay it out a little different, but would have still built in the woods because it looks cool to me.
Oh yes, and I think there should be a loot timer on removed plots so we have a chance to move all our stuff elsewhere before its available for everyone to loot.
Vegetation growing through foundations is a known issue we're working on. Thank you for your patience.
I wouldn't call it an issue when half if not more of the game was bought from the asset store. Maybe you can buy the fix from someone.
Did we forget to fix this. I moved to a very nice location. Took me a couple of hours to move. Trees are growing through everything. How do you put out a building game like this.
Indeed, it's a major game design oversight that has yet to be fixed. It leads me to question whether the developers may have overestimated their capacity when starting this game.
Dev's How many months does it take to make a tree stop growing thru foundations???
Seriously you posted the answer to this HOW LONG AGO NOW.....
In your cluttered world where finding a large enough area to drop your plots on results in you having to set up a cliff sides and places where your "ANNOYING" Build system that for some reason believes that stacking Foundations should cause the building to be unstable...
TREE's should have been fixed within a WEEK of you posting... its been MONTHS....
NOT acceptable... Yes this is an early access game however TREE's growing into people's houses is something you should DROP everything for and FIX for the love of #$%....
Things like this don't give us much hope in your competency, in fact at this point I believe I wasted a good chunk of cash on your game.... Because its starting to look like this game is going to be dead in its crib.....
New signs and emotes are their priority.
