How are yall leveling Carpentry at level 15?
Anything very easy or higher needs like rare materials I CBF getting.
Im stuck making Trivial Box Chairs for like 15 exp at a time.. Its better than going around farming periwinkle I THINK?

Idk what Ill do when I master box chairs D:

Make better chests, benches, tables and chairs until they no longer give you enough experience points. Then Fine wood.Farm wood like crazy.

Cho, chop hurray... make sure you only build material that are not already mastered (green crown) than you get not new points. So create those items only when you really need them.
The box chair is a good way to level higher, only the normal wood is needed.
Later you need hard wood for higher levels, normal trees only give you sometimes a little bit and only the large one where you need the iron a axe. Later when you have the wrought iron axe you can chop trees that always give you at least some hard wood every time.

Happy chopping :D

I agree with Pamina. Get the wrought iron axe, then go to the wildlands and chop down the Juniper trees. Best amount you can get. I get around 20 from big Junipers and 4-7 for smaller on the heartwood. Level your lowest, the beams, until the planks are moderate. Fastest way to level and you waste less materials.

Box chairs to 15, only need sapwood, then heartwood and done fine wooden beams, planks, etc

So.. I managed to max out woodcutting but can't get heartwood cause did not make my character a weaponsmith. I can't make the weapon cause I didn't make my character a blacksmith. Needed some leather too, had to make my character a leatherworker too. This is what happens to everyone. Everyone becomes a crafter in each category and then reduces the amount of help needed from other players considerably. Am I the only one that thinks this gameplay loop needs to be tweaked? Become the master of everything forces me to isolate more since I need less peoples assistance/goods/labour etc. Example: in WoW someone did not need to be an armor-smith to also be a leatherworker, they worked in their own ways. This also increases the amount I have to grind for, which I am fine with... but having woodcutting maxed.... but no ability to get Heartwood yet.... you can see the issue, yes? ( Working on getting them all up, I should have Wrought Axe etc soon enough but sheesh ) Game really forces me to just "do it all cause no one else will for you" for me so far.... back to grinding... :o // and yes Im in a caln but fi they are inactive for more thena cpl days... your skills are gonna need to be upped yourself.

You seem to be mistaken; this is not a solo game. Not by any means or standard. the second M in MMO is for multiplayer. Try talking to someone else to get the things you need.

I easily levelled carpentry to 27 using mostly heartwood at the chopping block. Once you have wrought iron axe you get loads when chopping trees and then just spam fine whatever at the skill level all the way up to fine short pole. Only pine trees don't give much heartwood, but give a lot of sapwood and resin.

It's probably the easiest skill to lvl up in the game. All you need to do is chop trees for heartwood and use sapwood for charcoal.

Says I am en route tog et an WI axe, says I am in a clan but they're inactive atm, is told what MMO means even though I've played about 50+ since 2001. I didn't say it was a solo game. Did you read it? I said the gameplay loop needs to be tweaked. Not OMG THIS IS S POS SOLO GAME... or something... o.O Ahh steam forums... <3

i think it will be easier after a trading system is established then you can simply get what you need without the need to craft it yourself

You can grind weaponsmith or ask around, also check out any public accessible chests that people have left on the edges of their plots.
I've had many items given to me including iron picks, battle axes, armour. Yes, I am now grinding some of those skills but only because I want to.
Ask around, find other players that are close to you on the map. Offer something in return.

Where is your avatar located (server, region, etc.)? Maybe someone on here can help you.
