Also there's a roadmap which lays this out pretty clearly. I mean this is a game you're interested in (and or purchased), so I'm sure you read that, right?
No coins => no trade. No efficient trade I mean.
No market/trading at all. Just an option to drop stuff.
Chat's super-limited and extremely janky--things jump around in different order all the time.
For a game that's supposed to be based on player interactions, this is a huge mistake, IMO. Every day that passes without either makes me more and more suspicious of the development.
Players interactions are set to a minimum, surprisingly..
