People really aspect wonder from an MMO in alpha, or what? It is clear that with the amount of content and missing feature right now its fun with the game will be limited yet. And in alpha this MMO didn't need a huge always active player baser, this is need after release but not now. They only need enough player to test the new features they bring in.
Get over yourself. Quit going full defense for the devs in every topic. Your tired shilling is getting nauseous.
One month? There is content for one day, lol. It will be dead in a couple of weeks. Screen my comment.
Ah so you are new to Steam and its your First Survival Game on Steam :)
This will Not be your Unicorn but make your own experiance
No, really, ouch.
This stings because I think back to my first, how I was so desperate to defend the company and game, and it sticks like an arrow in my heart. I guess we've all been there.
They call it a MMORPG and its Not a MMO so what is it?
A Online RPG with Survival Elements... A Survival Lite.
Even worse to be real.
For a MMO there is nothing Massively Multiplayer about it.
Its the Same Genre Scam Like all the Studios do after the Release of WoW and the massive success.
Games Like World of Tanks wer called MMO xD And Most of the Survival Games wer also called MMO even If the Servers only Had a Player Cap of 100 or less.
100 Player Server MMO xD what a Joke... But Player wer eating this Trash and now its normal.
For a RPG there is nothing to do and you dont Roleplay as anything.
For a Survival Game there are Missing Features so beside the normal stuff for the Genre Like Farming Wood and Stone to build and craft there is nothing.
The Devs call it a MMORPG because the Players are Desperate for a new MMORPG (Look at the huge Release of the Flop New World) and so they try to make Big Cash without the huge Work of a real MMORPG.
This Trash is a Survival Lite.
Nothing more
And it is a MMO in Alpha which lot of features coming that turns it more and more clearly into an MMO. That a not finished game in that early state has not all yet what makes it to an full blown MMO. Normal.
Well, than it's good Pax Dei is not like them.
And here is the first misunderstanding. MMORPG is a term you can not split up, it is not an MMO + RPG. Thanks to WoW it looks like that today. But there was MMORPG before which was not Theme Park (like WoW), they was Sandbox. Players themselfs are the content creators. The Sandbox MMORPG give them only the tools in their hand to tell their own story, to play as the character that they want to play. Ask Ultima Online players.
Like I said, this is NO survival game. So that didn't matter. And there are already dungeons in the game, you can see that on Youtube from Alpha 2. And look on the road map, again, this is an alpha.
They call it a MMORPG because this will be, when it is ready for full release, a MMORPG. What is so hard to understand in what development state this game is? I don't get it that so many didn't get that in their head and compare it with a finished MMO, like this is the game and nothing more in the future. A short view on the roadmap, it would be so easy, but nope...
Fresh clicks for tubers, free PR and payed testers.
Devs should take notes from Larian studios how the handled their EA.
These devs release all their content in EA so there will be nothing left to discover at full release and pointless to play for people who decide to wait.
