It's no so bad so far, bro. Later on after you failed to craft armor or weapon and lost all your resources you will rip hairs on your butt.
This level of frustration is insane and funny at the same time.
Right now I just wanna see how many hrs it takes to make a simple thing.
That's a joke, isn't it?
I mean the thought alone, I collect rare resources for hours to build something nice, because fail, and resources gone, hours played for nothing ?
♥♥♥♥, it's good that I've read here, there's no better reason for me not to buy the game.
But my point: Being a starter.... crafting basic things.... marked as "EASY" failing 5 times in a row..... which took you 4hrs to gather / craft.... without any result .....
After reading this.... i think my point really is: The Label "esay" does not match the propabiliets at all since I had this fails so many times.
I would want to know what "EASY" means in termns of %. Because I imagine I would be 75% ~or something. Now failing 5 times would be 0,25^5 ~ 1% chance.
I could accept that since its stil RNG .... but I saw this so many times in Leatherworking or Flechting or Carpentry....
IT seems Easy has a less then 40% chance of success... or something.... SO DONT CALL IT "EASY"
But that is it, you can have very bad luck and than it fails several time even it is easy. But you can also have luck and you success at a very hard item twice in a row. I had that with my iron axe in Alpha 2.
You will become a true believer, when the Gods of Pax cast a bless upon you after enough sacrifices and rituals.

They knew it would be better then EQ so killed it .
So far my crafting is progressing well, I have full chain mail, a sword, buckler shield, a good spear and a longbow with flint headed arrows. This was at the end of day two, I don't know how fast you guys want to make crafting increase, but at this rate it will be all done within a month.
This game is designed for group play, list it or not. It's not a single player game. It's an MMORPG and there is no avoid chopping trees or mining
Best roleplaying experience ive had in a long time
Im a solo player trying to build a clan of new solo style players in game through play.
Ive got ever Crafting Skill, except Baking and Jewelry, to level 10-15 and its been so much fun.
It sucks to fail at crafting something big, but its better then locking a player out completely and have unlock = always made
It's definitely my top sandbox MMO by far, and its day 5 of early access!
Leveling and resource gathering should be tuned up slightly (maybe by 1.25 or 1.5)
Even as a solo player I feel super accomplished and the windfall moments of having the game open up are awesome
This is rooted in the old school MMOs like dark age of camelot...
It's not for everyone...
And as soft as todays gamer is....they may have trouble finding a big enough audience at all.
