Lol, that was my exact reaction when I played. For a game about resource gathering and crafting, they did NOTHING to make any of it interesting or engaging.

This is alpha 2 testing, not pre alpha

He is 100% correct, this game is trash. The combat is horrible, the crafting is an utter mess, and there is no unique survival elements. IT is literally a crafting simulator.

Imagine yourself in 4-5 months... there are 0 quests, 0 activities, it is just you and your neighbors building a base.... how long is that fun going to last? The combat is terrible and they stated that this is what you get going into early access. Are you really going to want to go running through the same scarce wilderness, fighting the same 2 boars, 1 bear, and wolf to get some ore to run back to spend an hour smelting it?

its not even prealpha, its alpha 2, most of the systems should be pretty solid by this point and for once i actually agree with a streamer being annoyed with a game

the game is absolutely mind numbling grindy, i dont mind a grind, ive played a lot of mmos and survival games but i really dont want to spend hours upon hours grinding to make 1 iron axe just so i can go chop EVEN MORE trees to make a slightly better iron axe lmao

if you have no job and no life and have all day to dedicate to your in game profession then sure maybe youd have the patience

i was hyped to try this game after hearing how alpha 1 worked, and speaking to people who played alpha 1 most of those guys dont even like how grindy it is now lol this games gonna be another starbase at the pace its going, had a bunch of yes men defending that game as well then as soon as launch came it died in 1 month

I was one of those hyped for this game, but after playing it some I find it to be incredibly boring. The gameworld is pretty to look at, but everything else it does mediocre. Combat feels clunky and barebones. Crafting and gathering are pretty standard boring and crafting also feels somewhat convoluted. The amount of grind just to get basic gear is a lot. The RPG skill system is pretty basic and nothing special. If this game launches with a subscription model it is gonna be DOA. If it launches with just a "box" fee or F2P it might straggle along with a small playerbase, but there's no way it's gonna be able to compete with games like Enshrouded, Nightingale, Soulmask or others.

This game doesnt even work, tried to download it for 3 days, always stuck repairing/updating. Tried everything to make it work.

What a waste of time. There is no "game" to actually play. It's just scam.

the devs legit posted an announcement that they had fixed issues for people trying to download it and they still arent 100% sure its fixed for everyone lol

Except that it takes a village to farm enough resources to get anything done, and I highly doubt you have more than 1 friend.
