I started by placign oen of each. Then checked profit they generated when upgarded to max, and removed those than ran at loss.
One tip - don't go crazy with putting upgrades in your bouldings. Most of them increase matience cost, so you might end up lowering profits instead of increasing them.
Yeah. I ended up just slotting mantience cost reducing items in all my shops. Seems like the best option.
One thing I can't figure out is what does putting workers in shops do. for crafting buldings it makes them craft faster, but it doesn't seem to do anything for shops.
Adding workers to production buildings increases worker speed.
Adding workers to shops and entertainment builds reduces the time it takes for tourists and adventurers to buy/use the services, making it possible to turn around more clients.
Workers DOES NOT increase the default item production of shops, (default is 10 efficiency, you can only raise it by slotting enhancements, atm only the +5 hammer works) Maybe a bug? but currently that's how it works
Example
T3 INN with no workers 600 efficiency takes 54 seconds per customer
T3 INN with 3 workers 2800 efficiency takes 10 seconds per customer
