Best possible start

What would be the best thing to select at the beginning with 285 Godsends point ? Which Adventurer etc..

-Flying Ray
-Treasure Island (get all quests and grind for Viking buildings, not the best ingame, but its a step forward until u can get Elf buildings)

- Characters to get:
*Sun Wukong
*Yang Jian
*Zeus
*Ji Huan
/rest of them arent purple or dont have unique bloodlines, some of them u can get later just by playing the game (Coral, Qingfang, Axiu etc.). all of them have random bloodlines, so its better to get them later, and kick them out if u dont like what bloodline they have, they will come back later with a different one. initial characters when kicked do not return.

- Favorite Unlock:
*Vault - +20% exp gain
*The Wind god Wings - +28SPD
*Glasses - +10% loot pick up range
*Superior Glasses - +30% loot pick up range
/optional:
*Thousand year kill - +50 max building weight

Initial Buildings:
*Elf Tower (one of the best souvenir shops ingame - hard or impossible to get ingame? with some upgrades for more merchandise slots u can get up to +700% markup)
*Bamboo House (+6 settled adventurers - tho u can research/get it ingame later on)
*Dragons Statue (+50 weight +5000 max energy for your leviathian - u can get it later from the auction house)

Is there a reason you go flying ray? I assume that's just for the fishing but i'm always curious about which leviathan people prefer and why. Is the fishing really that good compared to the others?

I personally pick the ray because it feels faster to clear it so you can use the build space :p

Yea I don't have any issues with itaniums picks. Dragon statue every game and elf tower. Best collection unlocks are loot range and XP or leviathan weight. Adventurers listed aren't RNG bloodline so a known factor. Axiu would be a top pick due to anti army but again need to restart until she has a non garbage bloodline. Flying ray is most comfy leviathan. New island is nice though NGL but takes forever to clear.

Yeah new island is bigger and starts with a decent bit of space cleared, downsides would be no special building and obviously longer travel time from some parts of the map. Guess you really don't need all the space on that one though.
