Mount breeding and equipping?

Hi There, I've found how to get the mounts from flying ship.
Then I put them into the coral and make them breed consuming the 10k gold and stuff.
Wait 10 mins for breed to appear and it pops in the corral inventory.

But I'm lost as for what to do now and how to retrieve or equip it on my heroes...
Is it bugged somehow?

When you click on your heroes and open up their info screens, the same way you equip armor and skill books and stuff, there is a "Mount" tab. On the bottom of that tab is a button that says "Gift Mount". If you click on that it should show you all the mounts you currently have stored in the corral and you can choose one to give to the hero.
