Very slow level gain in the newest version
I don't understand how leveling works. I started a new game, I see when my lvl 1 units kill a slime they get 24-72 EXP but the upgrade process of the cheat increases maybe 2-6 points

Yeah, now monsters are hard to kill and we must kill a ton to get lvl up

It looks like the cheat upgrade progress (unit's level) is incremented by the level of the mob killed rather than the EXP, which hopefully is a bug and not intended by the devs.

Same here. Stuck on level 48, cant seem to progress like i used to in the past. My guess is dev is going to fix it :). Almost everyday updates.

I don't see issue, just put adventurers en mass into lighthouses. The will level quite fast on "training killing" then.

Dragon exp bug has been fixed, by the way, so no huge ammount of exp from this boss.

It is significantly slower. Left my game running for several hours last night and a settled adventurer managed to only go from lvl 22 to lvl 23. This was in Jurassic Park, World Class: 41, so facing lvl 50ish creatures.

Typically getting 10-50exp per kill. Not sure if exp is split amongst those involved, so might be that the exp is being split amongst too many adventurers (with a slow time to kill due to monster level) or that the exp isn't scaling with the monster level. (Or both.)

I assume you have near full collection, including new exp boosters?

when you open the "Cheat Window" in the Character stats screen, then the EXP jump up and down every few seconds, i started a new game today (and i already startet often new games because i like a new beginning) , and i hat the game running for 3 hours and most of my Adventureres didnt even get past lvl 1 ... so yea they did screw something up there

Open the "Cheat" window and click on the actuall Cheat. Isn't where they waste extra exp? To "complete" the skill tree? But the value tracker wobbly, yeah. But only because game keep refreshing it from zero.

Used to be the purple starting characters easily leveled in treasure island to nearly lv 200 (then I didnt see why but they all self-reincarnated, saying 1 reincarnation)
Now having people stuck at lv35~ forever world level 1, tried a new game and world level was set to 16x, making weakest treasure island enemies around level 20-23, and people are struggling still to level up to even 20. Just doesn't feel right compared to how high levels got before..

I don't have these problem, what's your world level ?
My world level is 71 and I have 1.9x exp from collection unlock.

In jurassic park map
I gain 600-800 exp form cyclop at world lv.30-35
I gain 3400 exp form cyclop at world lv.71

The point is how long you need to kill monster and what's monster in your map that give you best exp.

I can't explain much because I'm not good in English.
My method is focus on 10 heros, I make 8 of them do bounty quest and keep 2 to help beginner adventurer farm near portal by help them kill monster, Fast kill = fast exp.

In this 10 heros I have 2 heros the best of all, to kill boss for farming important item such as cheat, bloodline, equipment or whatever that hard to find.

Beside these 10 heros, only keep long range heros because they can kill monster without losing hp, They will group up on 1 target and easily wipe it out which can help new low level adventurer to get some exp near portal.

Don't forget to make blue or greater grade gear to sell in your market
New adventurer only have low level gear, If you have some high power adventurer to help them kill monster, they will have gold to buy gear that you put to sell in market.

When all the monster in you map give you low exp, you need to move to other map for increase your world level.

Higher world level = Higher exp, higher grade item.
Same map but more world level give you more exp and greater grade item.

I think it's not about world lvl. If you start a new game, you will see a new lvl 1 adventure will lvl up much slower than before, and beside that, monsters are stronger now, it makes lvl progressing early game even harder. I noticed my advs took 1h to lvl up only 3 lvl from 1 to 4.
