yet another pointless comment
Well i went into this game expecting more of the avarage game with basicaly no clue but solid technical work.

I found a bard game that got drunk one night and forgotten its lute in some local gal's panties.
By that i mean i found fun game that basicaly follows formula of the bard's tale (the newer one i dont think i played the original much) in regards to that game's story but dose have very satisfying melee combat with both sword and err pike? (the thing pikemen of HOMAM III wield) i love that the longer reach matters, makes me very interesting in seeing if and what weapons will be introduced (maybe i could go on nonmagical ranged with Crossbow and play that 80s show theme in my head or Longbow or slingshot or evne Roman dart!).

Ahrem sorry.
TLDR:

+
looks good,
plays good,
smells good (allegedly),
can hack and slash all night

-
still not released,
somewhat odd controls of Gandalf's cart,
little bit unclear as to where can one find reliable healing source/s,
oh yeah sometimes humor dose not land but maybe that too can be attributed to me being well awfull joyless ruin.

in summary absolutley give this demo a shot its worth it.

Thanks! And well, keep an eye on the game, there's not that much longer to wait. After all, it is 2024 already :)

I didn't see it at first but it does have some similarities to the 2004 Bard's Tale (which is available in several Bard's Tale bundles now) action rpg game, though I didn't really like the top down view of it. I much prefer the isometric of Diablo-likes.
