Is that an official statement? I mean a lot of games are not designed for Steam Deck and they still work fine. Like Anno 1800.
Is there any chance or should I get a refund do you think? I play these kinds of games on the Deck these days (not at my desk) so I think it’s no use to me if it will never work.
I want to support the developer though so I’d rather not request a refund.
Sadly, it's unlikely that it ever will so, unless you do plan to play on a desktop or laptop, then the game simply isn't usable for you. Request your refund.
