After release?
Hello. I am very Impressed with the game, it exactly match my tase. grew up with Caesar 3 and CivCity Rome and also love Roman city builders. I can wait for release. The atmosphere, authenticity, and music are great.
I know its a small project, and yet its impressive.

But will the game continue to be worked on after release if its succesful enough? Because the only thing i missed after playing the Demo is goods for the people. it would be nice if there were basic goods like clothing, furniture, pottery, and ironware (if historically accurate). Many basic resources like wood, iron and clay are already in the game. Wine, Oil and different types of food like fish, vegetables, fruit and meat would also be nice additions. There`s already a Fishermans hut and gardens, but maybe too much dreams?. Then the game (at least for me) would be nearly perfect. But nobody is Perfect. :)

I wish you succses with the Game. And Thank you for making a old school Roman city builder.

Sorry for my English.

The goods "issue" is something I want to extend after the release. Adding new goods is a goal. It's just already very difficult to balance it. That's why I'm on the safe side with less ressources and the option to add more after the release with new updates. Because I develop this in my freetime, I have to have the scope of this game smaller than othe rbig productiions.

Roger the developer is a really nice and enthusiastic person and PA is a "heart project".

If you will follow Pax Augusta you will see that it will be constantly updated till and after the release. Maybe there are rumors about some new chains in future.

But at the moment Roger is on high speed for the release version.

But he really doing this in his free time, everyone should keep that in mind. :)

I view the back yard shops as goods. sometimes the bigger scope games has to much resources etc and then lacks good trading and political systems. Also most don't get into the slaves part which was a huge part of roman cities and trade. I havnt made it to far into the demo, but i see there is bricks for construction, I assume clay is already in the game so it should be fairly easy for a nice update later on for some pottery as a good. I just hope it doesnt get carried and end up managing 30 resources lol.
Pottery, furniture and jewelry. Dyes and clothing. But make sure the trading and government systems stay spot on.

That sounds like a good strategy :). Thanks for the answer and transparency.
