Regarding the 'End of Everything' update.

Read through the non spoiler news and am still a little confused.

Am I right in reading that this update is basically the narrative brunt of the Definitive Edition?

So all/most of the extended content has been released then?

What was decoupled and what remains to be added?

This is ~3,000 new words + bonus animations expanding and retuning the ending.

The Pristine Cut is going to add over 40,000 new words, including several brand new Princesses, and extensions of several chapter 3 Princesses that had a lot more room for exploration.

I'd recommend playing it now, but that's my humble opinion. There is a lot of content. You won't see it all in one playthrough. As a result, you'll still have a complete experience w/o TPC, and more to look forward to when it comes out.

As for this update, while there is a lil here, lil there, the main bulk of it was a very large expansion and cleanup of the ending sequence. They added a lot of choices, and made it clear what you were referring to with each choice. Their goal was to polish off the game so people had a full, rewarding experience without waiting for TPC.

For perspective I have played the game to completion. I'm asking as someone checking to see if I should come back for the...I've lost count of playthroughs.
